The territory of the LAG „Tundzha-Sliven Tundzha Valley“ includes the entire territory of the Tundzha Municipality (44 villages) and part of the territory of the Sliven Municipality (3 villages: Bozadzhii, Krushare and Chokoba). The territory falls within the administrative-territorial borders of two neighboring regions - Yambol region and Sliven region and the South-Eastern economic region.
The total population of the territory covered by the LAG „Tundzha-Sliven - Tundzha Valley“ according to NSI data as of 31.12.2022 is 23,107 inhabitants.

The territory of the LAG „Tundzha-Sliven-Tundzha Valley“ amounts to 1287.82 sq. km. This ranks it among one of the largest territories covered by local initiative groups in the country. The territory of the LAG constitutes 6.5% of the territory of the South-Eastern region and 1.5% of the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.
For the planning period 2014-2020, LAG „Tundzha - Sliven - Tundzha Valley“ is implementing a multifund strategy for Community-Led Local Development.
In the territory of LAG „Tundzha - Sliven- Tundzha Valley“, organic farming and production include walnuts, almonds, vines, apples, watermelons, cherries, plums, rose hips, sorghum, herbs, sunflower oil, flour, honey. There is a total of 12 certified organic producers.
